Oksana Hrycyna
Executive Director & Founder
Oksana is a teacher at the York Catholic District School Board in Ontario. She has been a community activist and volunteer for decades, particularly in the roles of Camp Counselor and Camp Director both in Canada and in Ukraine. Oksana has been instrumental in planning and running nearly 50 children's camps for over 20 years.
Christine Liber
Communications Director
Christine's extensive career crosses many sectors, including non-profit, postsecondary education, documentaries, television, music, and live events. Whether crafting compelling narratives or shaping persuasive messages, she enjoys making a positive impact through her communication expertise. Christine's philanthropic spirit and commitment to giving back is evident in her long-standing volunteer work.
Lydia Bojeczko
Public Relations Director
Lydia focuses on supporting the organization as it pertains to outreach and relationship building. Before joining the Project Soniashnyk team, Lydia co-founded Ukrainian Canadian Parachute, an organization that supports displaced Ukrainians in Toronto. With a professional background working in government relations and mental health, working with Project Soniashnyk was a natural next step for her.
Christian Borys

Christian is the Founder and CEO of Saint Javelin a social enterprise that, to date, has raised over $2 million to help rebuild Ukraine. Boris is a former CBC Journalist and currently works as a freelance journalist and has been a supporter of Project Soniashnyk since its inception.
